NEXT EAA CHAPTER EVENT –Annual Pig Roast  Saturday, September 21  At Geauga County Airport

SEPTEMBER PIG ROAST, SEPTEMBER 21 AT 5:00 P.M.

Ed Malovic is the honored Chairman of the pig roast. Messages from Ed—he needs turkeys for the pig roast, so please contact him if you can donate one. He is asking for 4 or 5. Cost for this event is $10 for adults and $5 for kids under 12. We also need volunteers for various minor jobs during the course of the day. E-mail Ed back or call with your preference and he will schedule you in. He needs a couple of hands for early set-up Saturday at about 1PM. Everyone is asked to bring a side dish.

Brian King is once again heading up the Young Eagles Extravaganza. Brian needs volunteers to fly, so give him a call if you are interested. Car parking 2PM for Young Eagles

GREAT ONE TANK (more or less) TRIPS—this one a little more

Randy and Naomi St.Julian were hungry for a lobster dinner and flew to Rockland, Maine (RKD). Just 5 hours in the Cherokee and Telford Aviation rolls out the red carpet. Plenty of Lobster Pounds for eats and Acadia National Forest is only an hour and a half drive (Bar Harbour). Rental cars are available and plenty of B&B’s and motel accommodations.

MILESTONES

Ed Malovic is the proud owner of a bi-plane that he plans to restore. WOW, Ed, are we ever impressed!
