EAA Chapter 5 Meeting Minutes

The meeting was called to order by Tom Cunningham at 19:26

Gerry Hornick made the motion to accept the June minutes: seconded by Tom Cunningham.

There was no treasurer’s report as he was absent.

The pros and cons of the pancake breakfast were discussed. The general consensus was we did not run short of anything and there were no complaints. The date for the 2009 June event was settled as being on the 3^rd weekend of the month. A video of the event is posted on U tube and a disc was sent to the EAA headquarters.

There will be an open hangar day on July 19^th from 16:00 until?? Attendees’ are to bring their own meats. Check Tim’s newsletter for further details.

The annual picnic is on August 16^th to be held this year at 7G8. Everyone is to bring a covered dish as we will supply pop and chips. You are requested to bring your own meat.

September 13^th is the next Pancake Breakfast / Young Eagles day. We hope to raise some needed funds. There will not be a members meeting as such that month.

Tim Connor is working on updating the members list. As for Oshkosh, Tom Cunningham has NOTAMS on the arrival and departure procedures and will leave copies in the office. Wayne Link stated he would be driving to the event this year.

Walt Smiles of Sky Ox is to give a talk about portable oxygen systems on October 13^th, the second Monday in the month.

New Business: Tom buckles is find out if Jeff Schans of Lycoming Engines will be coming here. Eli Vujovich had gotten in touch with Kris Palcho in regards to safety seminar. She has been promoted to another position and is to contact other personnel about this. The November meerting will be about Tom Buckles long X/C trip in his Stinson.
